Oasis in a busy city

Large family room. Well located. Quiet except for a wedding next door one night. Pool great after hot day touring. Nice place to see the su set. Large breakfast. Cool old home features.Felt very safe.

We couldnt figure how to get any English speaking Tv channels, but who needs them anyway!

Very unique accommodation with amazing rooftop pool and views.

This place has amazing character! The architecture and furniture are so fantastic. Loved the library and biggest china cabinet I have ever seen. Good breakfast. Excellent A/C and great shower pressure with lots of hot water. Our room was two levels. No outside window which was strange but ok. Excellent location. Staff stored our luggage no problem when asked and arranged transportation to our next location. The pool on the roof top is not big but all you need. Excellent views. We watched NYE fire works from there and it was perfect.

Great location, the ambiance, the staff! Everything was excellent!

It was perfect for a family group! The rooms are really spacious and comfy! It is a peaceful location but at the same time perfectly located close to everything! The breakfast dining room and building itself takes you the colonial era.

Incredible building and vintage furniture / facilities, staff seemed a bit bored.

Fabulous location and original features… nice big bathroom, great shower.

Staff were not as friendly/helpful as we experienced in other places in Colombia. Breakfast could have had a bit more choice. Only one key for the room for three people to share wasn’t ideal.

Exceptional

The location is ideal and I really loved the friendly staff. The architecture is in its typical splendour and the room was divinely decorated. I will come back and stay at Casa Cordoba again.

Maybe the breakfast could be a little more extravagant but it was fine as it was. Thank you!

Good value for price

Casa Cordoba is in a great location. The staff is amazing, very helpful and courteous. Our room was very spacious. Air conditioning worked really well.

The cable connection on TV did not worked well. We kept losing the signal. The staff tried to fix it but unsuccessful.

Beautiful colonial style hotel right in the old city centre!

The hotel is in the city centre of Cartagena which is a great location and is like a calm oasis once you step through the doors. Our room was on the ground floor just a little way from the Reception and we found it very comfortable although others might prefer to have windows looking out into the street rather than the internal courtyard. We had a wander around the hotel and it is really beautiful, more like a grand house! We utilised the small roof top pool as the weather was so lovely on two of the days and we were fortunate to have it all to ourselves.

On arrival we were informed that the room we had booked wasn't available due to a problem that had arisen so we had been put in a different room. That wasn't a big issue in itself but we weren't told that we would be required to move the following day which would have helped because we wouldn't have started unpacking. It was therefore a bit annoying to be told the next morning that we had to move just as we were on our way out to go on a tour we had booked. In the end it was only to the room next door which we actually preferred and we did it on the return from the tour. The only other minor issue was that on our arrival we were told that we had to press the intercom at night in order to gain access to the hotel. When we came back later that night/early hours, we were pressing the bell and no one came. We were standing outside for about 5-10 mins pressing the bell and starting to panic that we wouldn't be able to get in! It transpired that there is a sister hotel just round the corner and for whatever reason the night receptionist was there. If we had been warned that this might happen we would have been patient and not been panicked by the fact that we couldn't get a response. Whilst we had these minor issues, we absolutely would stay there again as it really was very beautiful and nice to staying in the old city centre.

Charming stay in the Walled City

Great local in the heart of Walled City. Full of charm. Wonderful rooftop with a nice view of the city. Nice breakfast.

The towels seem a bit worn out.

Great Historic Hotel in central walkable locations to all sights

Great central location for sightseeing historic Cartagena . All sights within a couple block walk. We felt very safe. Lots of foods options nearby.

Exceptional

This is a charming small hotel in a beautiful old coloniel house. The rooms are well appointed, especially those three (5, 6 and 7) with a balcony/terrace. The breakfasts were delicious and the pool is a marvellous bonus with great views from the roof. The staff were not super friendly, but they were very helpful and this was much appreciated.

The staff could have been more friendly and welcoming - they were efficient rather than warm.
